We have two events in April, the AGM on 16th and the Salisbury Holiday from 21st to 25th. I know that AGMs don't get the pulse racing, but we need a committee to organise the rides programme and events on your behalf, so please come and give your support.

Salisbury Holiday update
The Salisbury Holiday based on Sarum College is now fully booked with forty participants, including four non-riding partners taking advantage of our lovely central location in a beautiful city. This will be the first time at Sarum College for me and most others. All we need now is good weather!

Across the world on a bike
Naomi Johnson author of The World at 15 mph-ish has just launched a new version of her book describing her travels by bike; 20,000 miles across 26 countries with a man she had only met three times!
The Shimanami Kaido cycle route in Japan
Thanks to Jan Janecki for bringing this to my attention.
I know we have a few enthusiasts for travelling in Japan amongst our membership from various Coffee Pot chats.
The 70km Shimanami Kaido, webbed with fishing harbours, hillside citrus orchards and historic shrines, is often regarded as one of the world's most incredible bike journeys. You can read the BBC Travel article below.
Model T Ford Rally starting from Winslow
This is a great opportunity to see these fascinating cars close up, talk to the drivers and see them go.
They start from The Bell Hotel in Winslow at 10:00 on Saturday 5th April heading into the Chilterns for lunch at The Horse Trust at Speen.
On Sunday 6th April they start at 09:30 again at The Bell Hotel in Winslow heading for Silverstone Museum via Turweston Flight Deck Cafe.
The event is organised by local enthusiasts the Tuckett brothers based on North Marston, who buy, sell and restore Model Ts and even offer driving courses, as the controls are somewhat different from the standardised layouts we have now.
